I'm Back: 16 in 2016

2015 was the year that I needed to take off I guess to get my thoughts in line.  I miss writing.  but I think what truly stopped me was that I was imagining myself compared to other blogs that I follow.  I'm not like those other blogs, and I am guessing that those blogs also started out small.

part of my 2016 goal is to do 16 projects in 2016 (If anyone knows me this will be a high goal, my lovely husband doesn't think that I can do it.)

1. Alphabet book for Abigail
2. Microwave Heat Pack
3. State in Rocks art
4. Personalized family Print
5. Anniversary Date Art
6. Home art
7. Our first home ornament
8. Monogram Burlap art
9. Birthday hands art
10. Kid's bedroom curtains
11. 2016 Family Yearbook
12. Kitchen Sink Stand
13. Kids Growth Chart
14. Wedding Reading Art
15. Stain Kit
16. TBD

Some of these projects will only take a day, others (Family yearbook) will take much more time then that.  Some of the above mentioned projects I have links to inspiration on a dedicated Pinterest board, you should check it out!

Yay! You are blogging again! You can totally do 16 projects! That family stick people art is very easy for one. Check that one off first and feel good about your progress! It is very hard not to compare to the "big" blogs. I do it all the time. I for one am interested in what you have to say though! (Obviously, as I am commenting minutes after you posted this, thanks, Feedly.) I forgot to bring a photobook this weekend but I'll try and drop off to you soon. It's a little bit of a learning curve starting but then it's pretty easy. And a growth chart has been on my to-do for MONTHS. We've even had the board since August or something. Just can't agree on a design. And motivation problems. Good luck!!

I was reading your Young House Love book and I read that they started by just documenting their kitchen renovation. I figured I can't stop trying to be a big blog and just start small.
